A week ago, I just bought a Samsung Corby II (Samsung GT-S3850). Previously, Samsung Corby is market in 4 colours, Jamaican Yellow, Cupid Pink, Minimal White, and Festival Orange. Now, the latest Corby II is available 3 colours, Festival Yellow, Candy Pink and Chic White. I think Samsung took out the Orange scheme as it is the least favourite of all.
I personally think that each of the colour represent the personality of the user.
White - Safe colour. Pure.
Yellow - Funky and being different.
Pink - Ever obvious, girlish.
If you dont like any of the colours, then you can change the scheme to black where the black cover is package with all the other colours. For black Corby users, you choose a very very very safe colour which also means you refuse changes, stable and practical. Or maybe you simply think black is cool! Anyhow, usually ppl would choose Corby as they are attracted to the pretty candy colours. So, if you are not fond to colours, you may as well pick other model.
Now, what's your colour?
Mine is PINK!
MY PINK CORBY II! ♥
The reason I choose Corby II:
1. I love the cute candy pink!
2. The price is very reasonable for a touchscreen phone.
Market price RM350 but I got cheaper because my sis is Samsung worker.
I'm a very simple mobile users. I dont need excellent functions. I only need the basic functions of a mobile which is able to call in-out and message. Mobile camera functions, no longer important to me now because I bought myself a digital camera. Games? Nahhhhh, I dont play games with mobile. Online, well I used my laptop to online more. Bigger screen and easier to type. Btw, Corby II enable wifi. It provides basic social hub like facebook, twitter and email.Practically, there's nothing more right?
Some complaints that Corby II has ugly theme and you got no way to change it. But that's not true! I dont deny that it's hard to find themes for this model as not many people are working for it. Yet, I found two websites, Paulforyou and yaptus that proof the wrong saying. Limited choice I must say so I decided to make my own theme using Samsung Theme Designer. And I succeeded! My themes are all based on my own favourite. Childhood favourite and still standing strong in my heart now.
Present you now Samsung Corby II Theme!
The first,
MY NEIGHBOUR TOTORO!

It's my all time favourite and I still watching the anime now. I love the little girl, Mei chan a lot! Mei chan always warm my heart and it makes me happy looking at her! If you see Yaptus website, she did a Totoro theme also but she didn include Mei chan. So, I designed myself a new personal theme of Totoro which will has my Mei chan as icon! All the icons are different and no repetition unless for those function like mini diary and daily briefing which it didn appear in my mobile. Since it doesnt appear in my mobile, I dont bother finding more icons for it. I just simply place some icons to replace the old one.
Second one,
CARDCAPTOR SAKURA!

This will never be out of my list! Cardcaptor Sakura theme was easier to make since it has a lot of icons! And it's not plainly Sakura but also Tomoyo, Meilin, Spinel-sun, clow card and Sakura's wand. It makes me happy of course as it means definitely no repetition! Yess, no repetition even for those functions that doesnt appear in my mobile. 33 different icons! How impressive right! I personally very satisfied with this theme because of the combination of candy colours and unique icons. It makes the whole theme looks so cheerful!
The final one that I did ytd,
DISNEY PRINCESSES!
You must be thinking now, why all cartoon and seems so childish. But I have to clarity, I only love cute things! So, no matter how much I love watching current movies like Harry Potter or Avatar, I would still prefer cute hearties things. Yess, I would love stylish graphic design but still unable to win my heart for this.

Choice of colours almost similar with the previous two right? Well, I couldn agree more. I like soft colours and combination of colours turns out like sweet candy which I couldn heart more. It makes me think of Baskin Robbins Cotton Candy. But sad to said, many repetition of icons in this theme. I couldn avoid it due to limited icons or I can say, limited princesses? Hahahhaha! If you wonder where I got the icons from, I get it from deviantart. Credit to the creative designer, princekido for the lovely icons.
This is all! Toodles ♥
