Bits of the birthday

Suit the title of the post, I thought of just include some pictures taken on my birthday. Hehehe, the main purpose behind this post is I DO NOT WANT TO WASTE MY EFFORT TAKING THOSE PICTURES. I'm quite passionate in taking pictures you see. I will take many many snaps at different angle and select the most satisfactory one to please my eyes. So, I do not want to just save those pictures in my "Tinted Smile" folder. I decided to post it!

So, twelve strikes on 25th September. I was on the phone and the coursemates came with cakes. . .

Cakes from Starbucks. And, I think I just realized they prepared me three candle for age of 21 instead of 22. Hahahhahahaa, not bad. It makes me happy now. They thought I'm younger! =)

Then, the birthday dinner with them at Party Play.


I think I love this lifestyle cafe the most in KK. They have good environment, friendly services, tempting food and foreveryummy dessert! ♥ Their desserts are ohmygoshhhhhhh very satisfying, well presented and I can said, it's very unique. The dessert section makes me happy by just looking at it! And very dillemma when it come to decide which one. But I let it go this time as I doubt I have the stomach for it. Next time though. *urghhhh waiting*



My dinner, chicchop. This is something new in the menu! After four months holiday, Party Play expand their restaurant and they have new menu. More more choice of food and more more new desserts! Next time next time!

Patiently waiting for our milky tea, Yoyo!

Yoyo is a good hang out place (Lintas Yoyo). It's spacious and air conditioned. Ppl there look very decent too and it's a safe place over all. Their milky tea is all your crave for and very cheap compare to Chatime. I like their mini pearls! Owhhhhh, I miss it much when I'm in Sban. And it's so satisfying when you take the first sip. It makes you feel slightly comforted to be in KK. Hahahahahaha!

The next day, I had dinner with one of the close friend in KK, Ching-san. But I will make it in the next post as we took many many pictures. Girls bad habit =/

But I wanted to include the lovely cupcakes she get for me here.



I do love cupcakes alot especially well decorated cupcakes =)

Low sugar Apple cupcake from Boutique Cupcakes. It taste really good! It taste something like apple crumble and you wont feel filling after eating it. For the first time, I love something that is made from apple. I will definitely get this again the next time I visit their store.

You may realized I took lots of picture of cupcakes in different angles. The fact is I love to take picture of cupcakes. I think they are very photogenic! And they look impressive in many angles too. Hahahahha, how can you get such cooperative model? They dont complain and they dont move. Over time when you look back at those pictures, it remind you of how yummy they are =)

Make a wish

Today is 25September, the day I will have a glimpse of happiness whenever I look at the date. The day that I will feel excited when it strikes 12 at the beginning of the day. The day that my facebook will be fully loaded with notifications. Also, the day that I should thanks my mom the most for all the pain she go through 22years back then.

Yes, it's my birthday! =)

To be honest, I never appreciated my mom so much for bringing me to this world. I never understand the pain and all suffering till the day I have my surgical tooth extraction. It's a minor surgery and everyone might said, owhhhh well what pain is that. I know very well the suffer I go through during my tooth got extracted is no match at all to the pain a mom giving birth to a baby. But because I go through that and I felt it's so torturing, I could imagine how painful my mom go through when she deliver me. Worst, being a bad baby, I was born with my leg out first. My hand got stuck at the opening and it cause my mom a million pain. My heart was screaming out loud for my tooth to come out during the surgical tooth extraction because I do want the dentist to drill my tooth anymore, it's not pain but very very very uneasy. Then, what about my mom that time? Thanks mom =)

Okay, so now, I'm a healthy person.

& today's the first year anniversary!
*living in denial*

Once again, my birthday is in KK. This is year could be the most lonely birthday I had ever. But, it doesnt matter. Because this year, I learn to appreciate more than ever. Because I'm alone, I see many things that many ppl may miss out and appreciate the thoughts that I may not last time. Last time, I may hope for ppl to give me a celebration, cakes, dinner and birthday songs. But now, I realized, even a simple birthday msg I received, I'm happy and I'm touch. It's a very miracle feeling. Believe me, it's really miracle.

I received a few msgs from my close friends at 12am. And I realized, I may not have many friends but the friends that I have now is the best that I couldn ask for more. They wished me birthday together with a few simple words. But one thing I noticed in every single msg, a similarity of all the msgs that is two words, "Take care". I know how much they mean when they wish me this. I failed to realize all this while that they are all actually worried about me being here alone. They concern and they care which make me felt very touched. And I'm grateful to have all these ppl around me. I dont think I be a good friend to them, I didnt do much deed to them but they could make me feel so appreciated. Thank you very much and ouhhh well, I think you know who you are since you all make an effort to wish at midnight.

And to my coursemates who come over during the night, I appreciated that very much too. I didnt really expect that they will come because I dont think that they will know my birthday. I always been so quiet and a loner in class. It makes me more than happy to know that they could remember my birthday. Well, I think one could remember a person birthday is already a very big effort. It means you really treated that person as your friend and not just someone you go class with. Even better than just rmber, they came with cakes and sing me a birthday song. Thanks a bunch =)

Thanks alot for this surprise pre -celebration. I really didn expected it. I was so sleepy during the karaoke session that I was so blur when I heard TanMingMing sang the birthday song. I thought she was singing something else but how come it came to the birthday song. Then, I realized ChooChoo came in with the cupcakes. Very lovely Totoro cupcakes! *heart* ♥ For the first time, you guys did it very well. I had no idea about this at all. I really dont know that inside that red luggage bag was this cupcakes. I mean, I look at your bag, it's so flat. You told me it was maggi and stuff, I didnt suspect at all. And when ChooChoo went to her apartment to get the cupcakes, I thought it was really books like what she said. Hhahahhaha, you girls are big liar and great actress now. Hehehhe, thankyou very very much. You all have been my very best friend since secondary. And I know, our bond will never end *kangaroohugs*

Tonight's dinner no pictures available. Had the best dinner with fellow coursemates. I called them not treat but they still insist. It's really very sweet of them. I know the meal aint cheap which make me feel very very very thankful. And it's a very good bonding session with them tonight. We are so into the talking that we almost didn want to leave the place till the workers off the lights. It's all about the experience over here and how we became friends. I'm happy =)

Tmr, another dinner with a close friend of mine in KK. And then, Tuesday will be the official birthday dinner with the only hsemate, Casey (in case I didn mentioned her name before).

I feel that I'm so blessed at this moment. Thanks.

Glimpse of Lights: i-City

An entry from the past. It was almost two/three months ago but still not far away from the recent. At least, my hair length still look up to date here =)

So, this is about
i-City!
known as City of Lights.

Let see, we'd reached. And I saw this huge cute mushroom.



Then, we saw Spongebob!


And his bestfriend, Patrick.


Headed to the Snow Walk which I personally think it's the whole value of i-City. Without this Snow walk, ermmmm, i-City basically will just look like a desserted city decorated with tree of lights. Good view of course but nothing much to do there. Except maybe you enjoy walking romantically, holding hand in hand with your precious darling and be lovey dovey there. Hahhahaha, that sounds rather funny to me too.

Okay, back to Snow Walk.


Welcoming swans.


Snow walk is mainly about leaving footsteps on man made snow and enjoy the view of nicely craved ice sculptures. It isnt big but it you can experience bit of Harbin here. Unlike Snow World in Genting, we can't play snow here. No throwing ice balls to each other =( But there are games. And you can play as many times as you wish. Also, you can re-enter the Snow walk again if you can't stand the chilling sensation in there.
