*A big hand wave*
It's a good sign that I'm still signing in my blog now. It means the assignments tornado havent strike yet and I'm still free to exercise around my blog.
And so, back to the days when I just reached KK, I granted myself some extra holidays by skipping classes though I'm just fews miles away from UMS. Stay home alone for 5days and this is what I did. . .

An octopus key chain for my keys.
I always have problem misplacing my keys, losing my keys and locked my keys (including car key) in the car. To avoid all these unwanted situations, I will put an extra huge doll key chain to the ring of keys so I can easily notice them in my bags and never too blind to left them. Previously, I have this big round cute pig as the key guardian. The pig did a great job, it cure my forget-to-take-key disease. But now the pig is old and dirty so I sent him for early retirement and MAKE myself this octopus key chain.
YESS, I STITCHED THIS OCTOPUS KEY CHAIN MYSELF! *proudproud*
Well, the only girl things that I can manage to do is stitching.
Look at my first attempt of a doll stitching.

It's a PIGRABBIT!
Owhhhhhh, I personally think he is very cute! I couldn stop laughing at him when I did the final stitching. But because I made the head bigger, it looks kinda fragile. Yet I believe the head and body wont split as I made few stitches to secure the joint. So, I believe in my skill after all. What's worrying me is this PigRabbit getting flatter day by day. It goes so flat even he is just one day old. Well, some mistake in expectation. I thought I stuffed enough of cottons inside, it was really so fluffy, so fluffy that I was afraid the side stitches will came off. But as a result, he is a thin pigrabbit now =(
Back to the Octopus key chain, so this is my second doll stitching. And Octo key chain is much easier compare to PigRabbit. Just a few simple steps.

Draw the shape you wanted. I draw it free hand since it's for personal use. Btw, imperfection is creative!
Then, cut two similar shape out.

Arrange the details so you have an idea of the position and how it looks.
Then, start stitching! Of course, you stitch both pieces of cloth together.

Left some space before you end the whole stitching.
STUFF LOTSA LOTSA COTTONS INSIDE!

It's done now!!!!!!
But wait, aint it looks dull?
Some decorations?

RIBBONSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!
I put two ribbons on the Octopus to make it looks silly and fatthiaossss =)
Nowwwwwww,

OHHHH MY OCTOPUS!
Ohhhh yay! One thing I love about doll stitching is the satisfaction you felt when you see your doll is done. And everytime you see that doll again, ohmygoddddd, very proud of yourself. Hehehehe. Even feeling good when everyone say it's cute and ask you do one for them! Hahahhahaha, though I wont do for them la but the still the happiness is there =)=)
